ACBA Bank for servicemen
ACBA Bank will direct 0.3% of each payment made by the bank with its issued cards until December 27, 2021 to the Servicemen Insurance Fund. Within the framework of the initiative, by the end of 2020 the bank has already transferred 22 million drams to the fund. In 2020, the Bank provided AMD 50 million to the Soldiers' Insurance Fund as a one-time support.
Last year the bank also joined the fund "Let's Make One Two" to the project, doubling the 1000 drams transferred to the fund each month by each employee. Two other structures of the financial group, ACBA Leasing and Amundi-ACBA, joined the initiative. Last year, the latter also supported the fund with 10 and 20 million drams.
All of our Staff and Team are very involved in the activities of the Soldiers' Insurance Fund. Cooperation with the foundation started in parallel with last year's events. It was clear to us that we should immediately support the foundation and serve set an example to help. "If we unite as a nation, together, we will be able to solve the challenges facing the foundation"- said CEO of ACBA Bank Hakob Andreasyan.
Director of the Military Insurance Fund Varuzhan Avetikyan said, "When the clients know that by making a payment that he/she will also support the disabled serviceman, the families of the deceased, the missing serviceman, and will feel more involved and participate more in this work/activity/act".
